Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
kega.ai and kega.info are the public websites of KEGA, operated by SteamOps LLC under the trade name Kega.ai, aimed at the service departments of automotive dealerships interested in the AI voice agent solution that KEGA offers. This policy applies to anyone who visits these sites, completes their forms, or receives their outreach communications; it does not apply to the products and services KEGA provides to its dealership clients, which are governed by contractual agreements and product-specific policies.
1. Data controller
SteamOps LLC, operating under the trade name Kega.ai, is the controller of the personal data described in this document with respect to kega.ai and kega.info. Address: 16760 E 104th Pl, Commerce City, Colorado 80022, United States. Phone: (202) 569-1337. Privacy email: hello@kega.info.
2. Data you provide directly
Through the demo request form we collect your name, email address, and dealership name and, if you choose to provide them, your phone number and a message with any additional information you want to include.
3. Data collected automatically
The hosting provider for kega.ai and kega.info may automatically log basic technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested, for operational and security purposes. As of this document, a source-code review confirmed the site has no analytics tool active, so we do not collect behavioral metrics such as time on page, navigation paths, or click maps beyond those basic technical logs. KEGA's commercial team also confirmed that outreach emails sent from kega.info do not yet include any open or click tracking mechanism.
4. Data obtained from third parties
As of this document, a source-code review of kega.ai confirmed that no visitor-identification tool or company/person matching tool is active based on browsing on the site; the site's content security policy blocks the loading of that kind of script by design. If SteamOps decides to enable such a tool in the future, it will need to deliberately widen that security policy, and this section will be updated to describe it accurately.
5. Purpose and legal basis
We use this data to operate, maintain, and improve the sites; respond to inquiries and demo requests; send commercial and outreach communications; measure the effectiveness of our marketing and outreach campaigns; detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or security risks; and comply with applicable legal obligations. The legal basis is, as applicable, our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries voluntarily initiated by the user, steps taken prior to entering into a services contract, and compliance with legal obligations.
6. Possible qualification as a "sale" or "share" of data, if enabled in the future
As of this document, kega.ai does not use visitor-identification tools that link browsing activity to a business or individual identity, so this practice is not active and does not currently trigger a "sale" or "share" qualification under data privacy laws. If SteamOps decides to enable such a tool in the future, that practice could be considered a sale or share of personal information under certain U.S. state privacy laws, even without a direct monetary exchange, and the opt-out mechanism described in the Cookie Policy would then apply.
7. Recipients and processors
As of this document, no active third-party analytics, visitor-identification, or advertising providers are identified in kega.ai's source code; the site's content security policy explicitly blocks scripts and network calls to domains other than its own origin. The details you submit through the demo request form are processed on our behalf by Amazon Web Services (AWS Lambda to process the request and Amazon SES to deliver it by email, in the United States) and are delivered to an email inbox managed through Google Workspace and used by our sales team. These providers process the data only to host the sites and deliver your request. We do not sell personal data in exchange for money. If SteamOps enables tools such as Google Analytics, Apollo.io, or HubSpot in the future, it will need to deliberately widen the content security policy, and this section will then list each provider, its purpose, and whether its use constitutes a sale or share of personal data under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
8. Other circumstances of disclosure
We may disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.
9. International transfers
The sites are operated from the United States and are primarily aimed at automotive dealerships in that country. If you visit from outside the United States, including the European Union or the United Kingdom, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.
10. Privacy rights under U.S. state laws
Depending on where you live, you may have, to varying degrees, the right to know or access the personal data we have collected about you, to request its deletion, to correct inaccurate data, to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal data, including for cross-context behavioral advertising, to opt out of certain forms of automated profiling in some states, and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. These rights derive, in various forms, from laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, Virginia's Consumer Data Protection Act, the Colorado Privacy Act, Connecticut's Data Privacy Act, Utah's Consumer Privacy Act, and similar laws in other states. To exercise any of these rights, you may write to hello@kega.info; requests will be verified against available information before we respond.
11. Do not sell or share my personal information
As of this document, kega.ai has no active practice of selling or sharing personal data to manage, as explained above. Notwithstanding this, if you reside in California, or in another state with a similar right, and you would still like to register an opt-out preference for if SteamOps enables a visitor-identification or analytics tool in the future, you may write to hello@kega.info with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." Requests will be handled within the timeframe required by applicable law.
12. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no industry standard for responding to this signal, the sites currently do not respond to it.
13. Retention
We retain personal data collected through the sites for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this document, including maintaining our sales pipeline, unless a longer period is required by law or you request deletion under the rights that apply to you.
14. Children
The sites are aimed at a business audience and are not directed at children under 16; we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If we become aware that we have collected a child's personal data without appropriate consent, we will delete it.
15. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this same page along with an updated effective date; where required by law, we will provide additional notice of material changes affecting previously collected data.
